Welcome to Eric Zann's Weird Covers, a site devoted to luridly inventive paperback cover art of the 60's and 70's. I'm paying particular attention to  "Weird Fiction" or "Cosmic Horror" from the likes of Arthur Machen, Algernon Blackwood and H.P. Lovecraft which enjoyed a revival in the 1960's with a rising interest in the occult. I also include some non-fiction  covers that convey a similar sense of otherness.

I hope to gradually expand the galleries with my own acquisitions and your submissions.  

 I will endeavour to include artwork credits wherever I can.  However cover artists were not often credited in this period so any information would be very welcome.
